Merry Christmas

first birthday

Cleo turned one this week. This is her birthday cake which I made for her. The cake was baked in a special cake tin. It required  lots of cake mixture and took a long time to cook.

Nightlight

I was desperate to get one of these as a night light for Cleo's room. I found a variety of options at the Chapel St Bazaar. This is the one I settled for. It sends off a very warm dull yellow light, a candle like light for feeding in the middle of the night.

Cleo was 6 weeks old this week.

Cleo

Cleo was born two weeks before her due date on July 4. She is a little baby - birth weight 5 pounds 6 ounces. Although she was little she was a bugger to get out because she was posteria (around the wrong way). Therefore forceps were needed in the end.

The 'bitch and stitch' session for the quilt did not happen because she arrived early. Sophie & I have been continuing to stitch away though...I may reschedule the group session for some help. Otherwise this quilt might not happen for ages.

Op Shop Tour 2006

Veronica, Yoko, Therese & I had a very successful two days trawling through the opshops of Wonthaggi & Inverloch last week. The fashions at this opshop in Inverloch were particularly good..? More pics in Pals & Relos
