Coming together to craft in whatever form is "all about the joy" for me. The joy of turning something imagined into something real. The joy of making something beautiful. The joy of sharing knowledge and learning something new. The joy of free time and coming together to share wine, food and stories.
Most of my making is very practical. I make things we wear and use. I found this project very challenging because the house kept speaking to me - pleading not to be twee. Difficult when you are making a "small house". Hopefully it expresses the love and joy of making we share together.
